 Mike Current was a former ormer 3rd round pick of the Broncos who had started 105 consecutive games in Denver before getting injured in 1975 and becoming available to the Bucs in the veteran allocation draft. He has started every game at right tackle for the expansion Bucs but was then traded to the Miami Dolphins for RT Darryl Carlton prior to the 1977 season. He played in every game for the next three seasons for the MIami Dolphins before ending an NFL career that took in 169 games. He died on January 16, 2012 by shooting himself in the head with a 20 gauge shotgun on apparent suicide.
