Vince Kendrick is a former NFL running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and a former Florida Gator who appeared in the first game in franchise history and carried the ball just once as a Buccaneer, stats in the infobox to the right are including the preseason stats. He was originally a 4th round pick of the Atlanta Falcons in 1974, he became available to his home-state team (he was born in Florida) in the veteran allocation draft, and was selected. He had 17 carries for 71 yards and 12 receptions for 86 yards including a TD during his rookie season in Atlanta but missed the 1975 season through injury. He retired from football on leaving Tampa Bay. He died from cancer March 21, 2015 at the age of 63.
